Helva (ottoman style desert)
Helva

Ingredients
50g butter
60g sugar
1 cup flour
1/3 cup hazelnuts roughly chopped
1 cup boiling water

Method



1.        Melt butter in a pan and add flour. Stir to combine, add nuts and stir on low heat for 20 minutes.
2.        Stir in sugar and then add boiling water. Stir rapidly with a wide-based spoon and pressing helva into pan. After one
minute, empty onto a plate and press down to crush all ingredients together.
